Characterisitcs

The hotels are classified into two types of establishments: hotels and boarding houses or “pensions” (the hotels type also includes hotel-apartments). The categories range from 1 to 5 stars Grand Luxe, while certain other establishments have been awarded tourist quality certification (the “Q” or ISO 9001 certifications) or environmental quality certification (ISO 14001, EMAS or the environmental quality guarantee symbol).
