In Catalonia, rural accommodation is classified according to the regional government’s regulations. Accordingly, the accommodation can be subsumed under two systems: rental of rooms with breakfast service, half-board, full-board or right to use the kitchen; independent houses or fully equipped accommodation with own kitchen.
