Hear the sound of your own footsteps as you walk, listen to the lapping of the water against the rocks, feel the force of the waves crashing against the cliffs … as you hike along any of the Costa Brava - Pirineu de Girona routes in the area.

Characteristics

The long-distance paths or trails (“grandes randonnée” or GRs, of over 50 km) traverse Europe and are marked in white and red. The shorter (“petite randonnée” or PRs, of between 10 and 50 km), local or county paths are marked in white and yellow, while the local paths (SLs) are shorter than 10 km and are marked in white and green. The Coast Paths are paths that follow the coastline, taking in the Costa Brava’s bays and beaches.
