Molló Parc - Animal Park of the Pyrenees
Molló Parc is neither a zoo nor a theme park. Molló Parc is a Nature Park. It covers 10 hectares and is located in the municipal district of Molló, 600 metres from the town centre. Visitors will take between 2 and 3 hours at least to complete the route around the park.
On the route, visitors can walk among fallow deer and roe deer, observing how they eat and rest, how they relate and communicate with each other, how they look after their young and how they play... Visitors are also guided to the goat enclosure, occupied by Spanish goats, and other enclosures where they can observe mouflon, bears, chamois and marmots, along with wolves and lynx.
This is an ideal place for nature lovers, hikers, mountaineers, and children and teenagers, for whom special educational and cultural activities are organised. During the route and through a series of activities, visitors can appreciate the flora, learning to distinguish between pines, oaks, holm oaks, ashes, holly trees, poplars and beeches, etc., enjoying the delightfully varied woodland of the Pyrenees.
