The municipality of Beuda, in the Garrotxa region, is a clear example of how the charms of nature and the testimonies of the past form an inseparable bond. This sounds very bucolic and, in fact, it is! The village has a colourful landscape, splattered with castles, churches, manor houses and monasteries. Make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes and follow the indications up to the sanctuary of the Mare de Déu del Mont. The view over the Garrotxa and Alt Empordà regions and part of the Pyrenees is priceless. If you can spare the time, you can spend the night in the accommodation there, so that you wake up to see this magnificent panoramic view.
