Mieres is one of those towns for strolling around without worrying about the time. Wander along its streets, watched over by the tower of the church of Sant Pere, or in the beautiful surrounding area, all at a leisurely pace. Enjoy the oak and holm oak forests, the Mieres stream, hills and mountain ranges such as Finestres (where you'll find the Palomera Iberian settlement and watchtower) or the sculpture known as The lady of Garrotxa. And if you come to Mieres on the second Sunday in November, bring all your unwanted things to the Exchange Market. For one day only, you'll have no need for money!
