An old steam engine and the church’s bell tower greet you as you enter Fornells de la Selva, a town that drinks from the Onyar river as it makes its way through the Girona plain. If you’re feeling curious, ask one of the locals who “Gos del Tet” was and how to get to the monolith sculpted in his honour. Keep on walking as far as the ancient oak, close to the Boventó stream.
