Planoles

Planoles, set in the Rigart valley and bursting with nature, will leave you enchanted. Much of this municipal district in Ripollès is a declared site of natural interest (the Montgrony mountain range and the head of the Ter and Freser rivers, also declared a national hunting reserve and a future natural park), so you can already imagine what awaits you. Rivers, forests, peaks, mountain ranges, meadows and pastures. On foot, by bike, on skis or snowshoes. Take things at your own pace. Puigmal mountain is close by, while the Dòrria peak is right here. The options are endless. And amid the landscape, history is on display in the form of Romanesque churches, namely Sant Vicenç in Planoles and Sant Marçal in Planès.
