Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees

The fact that almost one third of the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees is natural protected area should give you a good idea of what you’ll find there: eight spectacularly contrasting natural parks, with just a few kilometres separating the snow-capped Pyrenean peaks from the Mediterranean’s most charming beaches and coves.

And in such a short distance there’s room for fishing villages and high mountain rural towns, for Romanesque monasteries and churches, for Iberian settlements, Greek and Roman ruins, Jewish quarters and mediaeval fortifications, and for the surrealist legacy of Salvador Dalí.

There’s also room for all sorts of fun activities: skiing, hiking, mountain biking, golf or enjoying the relaxing effects of thermal waters in a spa. And there's always room for sitting at a table and savouring a unique gastronomic experience, leaving the wonderful taste of our counties in your mouth.

Don't miss it!
