Cala de Cap Roig
The islet of Cap Roig gives its name and personality to this cove. This rock formation has a characteristic reddish tone, mainly due to the crystals of feldspar of which it is largely composed. Covered in pine trees, it also acts as an excellent vantage point from which to take spectacular pictures of the surroundings. The islet divides the beach in two, thereby offering two distinct areas. With coarse sand and rocky depths, this is also a good option for those who like diving and also want to see the beauty beneath the water. It can be reached on foot, following the coastal path, and it is also possible to park relatively close to the beach if you come by car, taking the Platja d’Aro road to Calonge-Sant Antoni.
