Les Tres Platgetes
It is named after the three small bays that historically formed this area, made up of one main bay and two smaller bays. The beach is about a hundred metres long and is composed of gravel and coarse sand. It is just some 200 metres from Gran beach, following the road round to the North. It's worth taking a walk along this path and discovering the different caves in the area, such as the cave of Rats, though there’s no trace of the rats now. The coral reefs and rocky areas are ideal for a dive and to explore the marine environment.
The Tres Platgetes offers sanctuary from the Tramuntana (the north wind) when it blows, being at the foot of the cliffs between the road and the sea.
Highlights: Composed of gravel and coarse sand, it has numerous caves to explore nearby
