Platja de S'Abanell
Separated from Blanes beach by the Sa Palomera rock, S’Abanell beach is one of the longest of the whole Girona coast. It is over 2,380 metres long, stretching up to the mouth of the Tordera river. Although it has an average width of 32 metres, being heavily exposed to storms, the amount of sand varies over the course of the year. It combines golden and courser sands and, like its neighbouring beach, has a children's club among the services available. It can be accessed both from the town centre and from the main tourist resorts that there are in this area. The promenade also provides visitors to the beach with lots of other services. It has been awarded a blue flag.Tourist information point. Sports and fun activities. The Punta de la Tordera area next to the Tordera river is a nudist zone
Highlights: It is more than 2,380 metres long, which puts it among the longest on the whole of the Girona coast
