Platja dels Canyers/Sant Roc
This is a small beach, situated between the cliffs, coastal rocks, the old arched porches that the fishermen used to use and the stairs to the spring of Sant Roc, which is listed among the Unique Cultural Assets of Calella de Palafrugell. Indeed, some people know this as simply the beach of Sant Roc. There are stairs on either side of the beach and, up above, there are banks that allow you to sit quietly and contemplate the landscape. The beach of Canyers is only about 40 metres in length and is made of course sand. Once in the water, there are numerous reefs and it is a good area for diving, which is not to say that there isn’t also room for those who like to simply paddle or swim.
Highlights: At the beach of Els Canyers is the spring of Sant Roc, listed among the Unique Cultural Assets of Calella de Palafrugell
