The Sant Lluc Fair dates back to 1314 and is a livestock fair. It was held between the livestock fairs of Ripollès (Espinavell, Ribes de Freser and Ripoll) and that of Sant Narcís in Girona, which marked the end of the season.

Since then, the Sant Lluc Fair has always been partly devoted to farming and livestock through the traditional Livestock Fair.
