Ésdansa - International Music and Dance Festival of Les Preses

Ésdansa, the International Music and Dance Festival of Les Preses, has become firmly established over time as one of the leading events of traditional and popular culture in Catalonia, with high quality shows and excellent organisation. Ésdansa involves almost 10,000 people: over 9000 audience members, over 400 artists and 200 organisation volunteers.

The event is run by a team of young and dynamic organisers who over time have gained the necessary experience to keep going and offer something refreshing every year. That is why the International Music and Dance Festival of Les Preses became Ésdansa in 2002, adopting an innovative and fresh approach to traditional dance on the basis of five key elements: creation, heritage, interculturality, dissemination and participation.

Ésdansa offers a great festival of traditional culture year after year. At the end of August, there is a great festive atmosphere in the municipality of Les Preses thanks to an event that raises the international profile of Garrotxa and in which music and dance go hand in hand with cultural exchange, participation, entertainment and tradition.
