Located at he top of a hill, the castle of Rocabruna must have been one of the largest defensive constructions in Ripollès. The first historical mention of the castle is in a document from 1070. Although it is now in ruins, many of the walls that divided the rooms that formed part of the fortification can still be observed. Part of what was the castle chapel has been preserved, along with a rectangular nave, a round-based tower and a rectangular open tower with some loophole windows. The views from the castle are wonderful.
