Serinyà Prehistoric Cave Park
The Serinyà Prehistoric Cave Park, located on the Reclau site, is an interpretation centre devoted to Solutrean culture (18,000 - 15,000 BC), one of the most advanced cultures of the early Homo sapiens in Western Europe.
However, given that the interpretation centre is located on the same site as the main caves of Serinyà, it also serves as an educational centre for all the Palaeolithic cultures of this cave complex, from the archaic Middle Palaeolithic (250,000 - 200,000 BC) to the Magdalenian (15,000 - 9,000 BC). It is an authentic archaeological park with comprehensive facilities, funded by the County Council of Pla de l'Estany.
