Can Ganga Ethnographic Museum
A 16th century fortified seaside farmhouse. In addition to utensils used in ancient trades carried out in Tossa before the onset of tourism (cork farming, vine growing, firewood production, bee-keeping, hunting, fishing, agriculture, fish salting, ice production, etc.), this refurbished building also displays a model ship collection, scale models of ships that have sailed in the area from the 1st century BC to the 20th century. These model ships are extremely detailed and of the highest quality. The 16-piece collection includes Phoenician and Roman merchant ships, a xebec from North Africa (pirate ship), a brigantine, a trainera fishing boat, a lateen-rigged sardine fishing boat, a seine fishing boat, a longliner, etc.
