Club de Golf Costa Brava
The 27-hole Club de Golf Costa Brava, founded in 1968 and designed by Hamilton Stutt, was recently expanded by Jorge Soler Fish and Eugenio Aguado with the addition of nine new holes. The two courses, one a par 70 and the other a par 73, blend into the stunning and exceptionally beautiful natural landscape.
The par-70 Green Course features a British design surrounded by centuries-old pine and oak trees. The first nine holes, technical with well-protected greens, provide a contrast to the back nine, played on gentle terrain with wide fairways where players can test the strength of their swing.
The 6,000-metre-long par-73 Red Course features six challenging water hazards that require players to choose their clubs wisely and measure distances well. This is an extremely varied course with four par-3s, nine par-4s and five par-5s that make use of every club in the bag.
Both courses finish next to the clubhouse, a traditional Catalan farmhouse that dates to 1841 and boasts a spectacular terrace with views over the 18th hole.
