Skydive Empuriabrava, located in Empordà, is the largest skydiving centre in Europe and one of the most important in the world, boasting almost two million jumps since it opened for business in 1985.
Since the very start it has led the way in organising skydiving events: six world championships, two European championships, ten Spanish championships, twelve Catalan championships and several other international competitions and events. Moreover, three European records and two Spanish records have been achieved at the centre in various skydiving disciplines.
It offers skydiving activities for enthusiasts and novices alike:
-Offering for skydiving enthusiasts: practice and training in several skydiving disciplines for all levels (from the most basic to preparation for international competitions).
-Offering for skydiving novices: Tandem jumps for beginners (jump connected to a professional instructor by a harness) and skydiving courses for beginners.
Skydive Empuriabrava also has a pilot school. It offers courses for private pilots.
