Estartit Yacht Club

The ESTARTIT YACHT CLUB is a sports association founded in 1961. It is open to members, season ticket holders and visiting boats.

It is based at the marina, which accommodates up to 650 boats measuring between 5 and 25 metres long. Its superb location in the centre of the Costa Brava and less than a mile from the Medes Islands, makes it an excellent place for spending a holiday and a great port of call, very safe and with all the necessary services. Sheltered from the north wind, even in low season the climate is very pleasant.

The yacht club has different sports sections. The sailing school is open all year round and has different types of boats to suit different ages. The club also has a sports area at the Torre Gran facility, located 4 km from Estartit, which contains a swimming pool, tennis courts, paddle tennis courts, a gym and a grass pitch for other sports.

The Montgrí, Medes Islands and Baix Ter Natural Park makes the club a great place for diving and walking, in a natural setting of great scenic value. Torroella de Montgrí, located just 8 km away, is another town well worth visiting.
