Mas Alba is a farmhouse dating back to 1748 and home to the Huguet-Alba family for the last five generations. Our family still farms the land and raises stock the way our ancestors did. For twelve years now, we have also been making artisan cheese exclusively with the raw milk from our own herd of goats, and we run an agritourism service for guests that want to experience the cheesemaking process for themselves.
Our Cheese-Lover Experience comprises a guided visit to the goat pen, the dairy and the cheese maturing cellar, and a tasting of cheeses paired with wine. The tasting takes place in the garden, in the porch by the swimming pool, or on the first floor of our family house, which has been preserved intact since the 19th century.
