Located in the former Café de Can Barris in Pals, an iconic 1930s’ venue, Vicus Restaurant opened its doors in June 2011 to offer signature Catalan cuisine based on the finest local seasonal products.
The restaurant’s imaginative cuisine uses Catalan products as the basis for its dishes. One such product is the rice cultivated in Pals, which is featured in several dishes. The carefully considered wine list largely features Catalan wines, with a special emphasis on those with the DO Empordà label, in an aim to raise the profile of excellent but little-known wines produced by small wineries.
